woah.. you shouldn't mess with the MAS.. put it back to the way it was(the way it came stock) and try resetting your ECU.. unplug the ground from the battery and let it sit for a few min.. then plug it back in and start the car.. let it run at ide for about 20 mintues..

thanks..becuase i remember when i first installed it i unplugged the batter and did all that and this time we didn't...yeh my friend took the whole mas off and then pushed it back in after we tried fliping it...so hopefully that will work after i try reseting the ecu...but what about that wire?

Your MAS will NOT work without that wire, that is how it sends the signal letting the ECU know how much air in coming in. It has to be hooked up to the MAS. I just read where you said it was not plugged in (probably after install the sri, you forgot to plug it back in), well that is why you are getting the CEL. Make sure your MAS is installed correctly, make sure that wire is plugged into the MAS, then reset the ECU. That should do it.

They are just doing a better job of hiding the wire. it doesn't matter how it is routed, as long as it is hooked up. Reset your ECU, if you get the CEL again after that, it is time to take that intake back off and make sure that your MAS is not damaged. btw I was not implying that you were stupid. We all make mistakes.
