Im having problems with the speakers associated with my bluetooth. I cant hear the voice prompts and when i dial a number, the other person can here me clearly, but i cant hear them at all. Its almost like the speaker, whichever one it is (sounds like the passenger side tweeter) stopped working, only i can still hear music out of it. Going to the dealer tomorrow for a checkup.

PS. Also checkin pull left issue and high rev issue.

Bluetooth Lag

I've noticed a big lag on mine when using my phone (BB Pearl) to make a call. When I use voice commands or the phone screen, it pretty much doesn't lag. I do know that when I synced my motorala bluetooth headset, i get a similar lag but not as long . I think the problem is more of an inherent problem with bluetooth and not the system. If you search around at other bluetooth devices, such as mice, you'll find quite a few lag issues with those devices. This problem may have been fixed with the new bluetooth 2.0 EDR, but I dont know which version is in the 08 GTS.

hope this helps

i havent noticed any real issues with my bluetooth... i did feel like there was less lag time with my RAZR phone than my samsung U420, i have a feeling its more about the capabilities of the phone than the car

Only issues I have noticed I think are related to the phone itself. If my iphone loses the signal for even a split second it disconnects the bluetooth and it takes forever to re-connect. Usually have to turn the phone off to get it to quickly pick the car back up

Question Bluetooth on GTS need upgrade?

Hi...I will be getting a new cel phone next week and was wondering if I need to upgrade my 2008 GTS to use the bluetooth features cause I went in for an oil change last week and one of the mechanics came up to me and said I would need to buy some device ($300) that would make the bluetooth work in my car sounds like bull since my GTS is loaded with the sun and sound package and has the buttons on the steering wheel for phone use any info on this would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance.

I'd say he's full of it. But the best way to find out - just try to use your phone when you get it. If it doesn't work with the car, then go in and find out if you're truly missing something.

that is definitely BS.... if you have a fully loaded one you should have it... I would be careful taking my car to that dealer again... they might disconnect something just to have you pay the $300...
