Bluetooth issue

Hi evryone. I just picked my silver GTS today. The car it's really amazing, has a lot of gizmos. The only thing that has given me problems is the voice recognition. I can't make it recognize my voice at all. It confuses the numbers all the times.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks a lot.

Try running through the voice training option and say the phrases in the back of the manual or wherever they give you that list. Its like 43 items long or something like that.

this is not ASR, but rather word/pattern recognition with a lot less processing power and a smaller vocab. You have make sure you speak clearly and with an eye towards the mike and at a clear volume, limit slang and accent, seperate each word clearly with a short pause, and also seperate numbers with a clear if short pause. I haven't enrolled mine and it nails it 95% of the time 'out of the box'.

Talking Stupid questions

Does anyone know of any problems the new 2008 Lancer may be having. My stereo seems to be cutting in and out and seems fuzzy at times.

Second concern: Does nayone know how I can get a set or at least one alloy rim to replace my messed up one for cheap?

Third concern: How can I locate the exact color of body paint to do touchups on my own?

Radio or CD player? It's becoming somewhat known that the radio reception sucks. One member had his dealership trying to fix the problem. No solution yet that I know of.

Nope. Wait for someone to sell used or spend a grand at the dealership.

Buy it from the dealership (yes, they sell it). Go to a paint shop and ask them for your car's paint (they can mix it just from the color code).

Trouble hanging up

When I am using my Bluetooth in the car and go to hang up the call using the steering wheel controls it just beeps and does nothing... any one else have that problem? I asked my salesman and he didn't know if that was normal or not, so I guess my dealership hires the third place contestants of the Special Olympics cause nobody seems to know anything about the "features" our cars have.

Anyone have lag in answering or talking on the bluetooth.

Example:

When someone calls me I press the pick up button then have to wait 3 seconds until I can talk or hear.

The tech at mitsu said he talked to the engineers in Cali and they have no solution to it as of yet because its the first of its kind with mitsu.

Just curious if anyone else if having the same issues.

I have the same problem, also when I hung up. It takes like 3 seconds to return the music.
