HELP plz bad

ok so here it is my ses light is on reads cam and crankshaft sensor, replaced and reseted still on. this morning i turn the car on and it chugs bad, and by bad i mean BAD. white smoke out the back could see squat on my rear view mirror. i then for some strange reason i decide to pull the valve cover off, as i remove the the spark plug wires one of them is completely broken off from left to right its #2. so i take out the broken pieces and remove the valve cover and i see one of the seals on the tube thingy where the spark plug is in broken. what is that seal called and bout how much will it run. should this fix my problem (SES) or is it a sign of another? any help is appreciated. thx btw i have a pic but file size is too big

make the pic smaller in "Paint" and then upload it to http://imageshack.us ... or go to http://imageshack.us , put the file location in, and then click on the "resize" and make it "for message boards"

That's a spark plug tube seal...yes, kinda generic but it'll get you started. So did you have the dealership replace that cam and crankshaft sensor? I've gotten the crankshaft sensor malfunction CEL just two times and at totally random times. So you replaced yours, but are still getting that same CEL code? Maybe we can figure this out and report back on our finding! I'm going to order ALL my belts to be replaced this next weekend. I'll take a good look down there to see what's up...

Good luck!

The smoke I believe you said came out the exhaust pipe right? Then I don't believe the seal caused that. But do them belts and that seal and report back; we'll see what we can come up with next if that's not it.

So you said you replaced the sensors yourself? Do they have variable positioning, meaning just not bolt on? Is there play or positioning of each sensor? Then the smoke could be you had them off and your timing was off?
