Ever recharged your A/C before? or had anything done to the A/C system? I got one of those refrigerant containers with that gauge thing and did it myself for <$20. Air becomes cooler quicker and is much colder! You'll need this being in Vegas and all!

Easier than an oil change! Go to any auto parts store, ask for a "gauged" A/C recharge kit (you want a gauge to tell you when the system is in the green [good] or in the red [not good]). If one container isn't enough (the will tell you), the gauge can be re-used on the new one. Start car & turn on A/C to full. Attach container to the low pressure inlet (believe it's the green cap[it'll say on top of it...take a look]), shake can, turn upside down, and depress trigger and shake every 5 seconds until the gauge tells you it's green. Done and done...

If the auto parts place isn't busy, they might even help you out too!

BTW, the instructions on the container will tell you exactly what to do... I just cliff-noted it for you!

YUP. Buy a can at Autozone, and recharge it. It sounds it just needs a can. I saw them at walmart for about $3, but I would trust Autozone more.

Buy the can and the hose.

Hose: http://autozone.com/R,NONAPP26147/st...ductDetail.htm
Cans vary but I think you need R-134a: $5.99 at my local Autozone. Just recharged my truck yesterday

Kit(if you get lazy): http://autozone.com/R,NONAPP26137/st...ductDetail.htm

^Yep, that's all you'll need! Get yourself a can with hose on it for under $20...Walmart got my business on that one. Use my or the containers instructions, and you'll be cold in no time!

I used Walmart cans about a year ago on my Lancer, and worked just great. I believe they also have a little Kit too.

I doubt the fan had much to do with it. Pop on another $8/9 can on and fill 'er up!
