more problems?

well i was at work on saturday, got there at 8am. car sat in the sun in about 80+ degree weather til 1pm. i was in the office talking to john for a few minutes and punch out to go home for lunch, so i backed out of my spot and the back of my car was facing the office which was only a few feet away. i put the car in drive and give it gas, and the car hesitates like its been doing, and almost stalls, for a second or two, then i go home and come back, and the guy in the office says to me "whats wrong with your car?" and im like why? he says "when you backed out i seen your car jerk you, and i heard it start coughing like it was choking, then as you pulled away, it was blowing smoke all the way around the corner of the building" which is like 5 seconds, which isnt much, but thats as far as he seen me, so who knows when it stopped. like i said, the car was sitting in the sun in 80+ degree weather, so its not like it was cold. i swear this car is defective.

and not only that, the heater only works if i turn it up all the way, anywhere between 65-85 it feels exactly the same, and the antifreeze was also almost empty, below low, i filled it up, but no change in that, so something is not right with this car, im calling the service manager tomorrow and having a ***** fit, this car only has 1288 miles and ive had it over 3 months now... problem after problem

When you turn it on, try letting it sit for a few minutes so until the RPMs drop from about 1500 to below 1000. That might be your problem.

Also, I know what you're saying about the heat...mine seems to only get warm near the high end of the range too.

IMO, these cars have been rushed to the market and are crap. I have a GTS with the pulling left issue, was in the shop three times, engineering involved, they come back and say there is no fix. Complain to Mits Corporate.....they send a corporate guy down to tell me there is nothing wrong. Just after the service said there is a known issue, a field engineer is looking at one and will advise. F this Mits. I'm currently waiting on hearing back from Mediation on buying it back, but I'm sure I'll have to fight alot more on it. If they dont buy it back and force me to get a lawyer.......I'm done with Mits forever.

I haven't had a single problem in the 4.5 months i have owned my GTS. People shouldnt say that these cars are crap just because they are having problems. There are more people that have had no problems and love their cars than people with problems. Most of the problems are minimal and easily fixed.

but what would waiting to sit until the RPMs were at 1000 have anything to do with it blowing smoke? i did wait a little bit like half a minute or so messing with the radio, so it wasnt immediately put into gear after started, but what about the fact that there was almost no anitfreeze left in the reserve?

have you taken yours in about the heater issue at all?

I'm not sure if it would help your car, but I know a lot of people have been having different small issues with their car if they drive it too soon after it's turned on, weird noises and such. You're the first I've heard say anything about the smoke though, so I don't know if it would help.

And no, I haven't taken it in for the heat issue yet, because I figured it may just be due to the fact that I never use it, and my body is used to the warm air, so it doesn't feel warm. If it becomes a problem later in the month when it starts to get colder, then I will take it in.
