RMR strut bar + Injen short ram = pinching

Hi guys, I did a search on this but couldn't find anyone with the same problemo.

Here's the deal, I have the RMR front strut tower bar and an Injen short ram intake. The strut bar sits on top of the air hose that connects the intake to the engine and I'm worried that there is going to be a problem after a while if the hose gets pinched off (right now it is bent under the bar at a 90 degree angle). Does anyone out there have this setup or some suggestions? I'm thinking I may need to reroute the air hose using a longer piece of rubber tubing. Any help is much appreciated.

they shouldn't be that close to each other, you should probably adjust the intake tubing. look at other people's registries to check out their cars.

EDIT: look at this pic:

although it's not an injen short ram, every short ram intake is just about the same. it should look like that in Hobie's pic
