Front passenger window making rubbing noise
Front passenger window making rubbing noise
Had my car for 4 days now and my front passenger window makes a rubber rubbing on glass friction noise whenever I raise or lower it. I'm going to bring it to the dealer on Thursday but has anyone else had this happen to them?
that happened to me but i had a tint so i took it to the tint shop and they blamed
's brilliant engineering b/c they didnt put any felt to protect the tint so it was making that noise... so if you have a tint.. that might be it... if not then take it to the brilliant guys at

I had that problem before I got the tint too, but it was only on certain occassions. I believe you only hear the rubber rubbing when its hot out...I think once you roll down the windows a good amount it will be broken in and softened and it should stop the noise.
Of course adding felt would fix the problem immediately, but it isn't really worth the hassle.
My friend has a 2007 TL Type S with tints and they do the same thing sometimes...just give it some time to break in...
