when i start my car it runs fine, but after a couple minutes it will start to surge. at idle it will drop down 500 rpm, if i bring rpms up and hold it at any point it will still surge. occasainally it will quit surging for a couple of minutes. i have a turbo on my car but i dont know if that causing it. any ideas guys?

 

Are you sure it may not be something as simple as a perhaps having your AC on? You probably should also really define the word "surge". Are the RPM's jumping/dropping? Does it happen only at idle? Gotta have symptoms to diagnose.

 

i found the culpret. turns out my blow off valve is bad, causing me to have a serious vacuum leak. i need to check to see if its the diaphram. i just read an article on dsm forum on how to fix it if thats it.

 

I'm not sure if I'm having the same problem, but I have a stock 2002 auto oz w/approx 17,000 miles and right as my transmission is about to change from it's 2nd to 3rd speed it jerks back and forth. It feels like I'm punching the gas, then braking, then punching the gas again. Sorry to butt in with my problem, but it sucks. Any suggestions?
