I took my car into the shop today to have them look at it, they told me that they would do their best to repair it without purchasing an entirely new system. I'll post my experience later, and the dollar cost to me for the repair, that way you can decide if it's worth it to you. As for me, both dials are messed up, and I have had to sit for 15 minutes waiting (to no avail) for the ice on the INTERIOR of the windshield to melt. I eventually drove to work with a dangerously iced windshield, not something I plan on ever doing again.
