I can't remember if this button was supposed to be illuminated when the lights were turned on.

On my way to work i noticed that the info button doesn't light up in my car.... is it supposed to?

My info button didn’t work when I got my GTS, I took it back to the dealer and had to wait a couple of weeks while they ordered a replacement. The service manager told me that the ’08 lancer came out with some faulty info buttons and not to press too hard on it when I use it. I really didn’t believe him since I overheard him lying to a ’06 lancer owner saying the ’08 GTS weighs less than the ’06 and wont be making anymore GTS trim (a-hole was trying to get this guy to buy one) Glad to say I informed my fellow Lancer pal and set him straight, actually referred him to this site!!!

 

Er...but they won't be making anymore GTS Lancers...

 

yeah i went to the dealership today... no gts.. all gts wannabes with the spoiler... but no side sills or air dam... sigh... ohh well hopefully our replacement parts wont be expensive b/c its discontinued..

 

The dealership I got my Lancer from was unloading a truckload of GTS's the other day.

 

i was there getting my ride serviced and they had about 5 GTS on the lot. I spoke to sales manager and he told me service manager was mistaken, GTS's are still for sale, at least in CALI
