Headlight bulbs round two
Ok, I swear, am I the only one struggling with installing of 9006 bulbs in our lancer. I recently removed the plug and play harnes upgrades that i had in there because i am running the Nokya yellows which run on stock wattage, vs. the purples I had before that was 100 watts+. but getting the bulbs in just doesnt seem to be easy. every time i attempt to get them in the bulbs seem to be out of alignment, meaning one of the prongs are not lining up. I am just not having fun with this.
I have owned 3 other cars before this one, but i have never run into a car that is so difficult to work with lighting.
Anyone care to share?

I wish i could help man
But I agree it is a huge pain to replace headlights on this car. I tried having a go at replacing my highbeams today for 20 mins. Only to give up, with my hands all scratched up and bleeding

my issue is just with the 9006 low beams, every time it put them in the bulb goes on a odd angle, pointing up or down or to the left or to the right. its frigging impossible, lol even at the last Car meet i went to peoples aftermarket 08 bulbs were pointing all over the place
well... i did something risky because of the alignment....
i discover that the headlight would aim at an different angle as ur screwing it in...
so my solution is to switch on the light, turn the bulb to the desired angle (not necessary all the way) and then DONE!!
question is..... will dust tend to get in because it is not screwed in all the way?... it is fine so far...and i did it for 3+ months ago

I got silverstar ultras at Pep Boys and they offered to put them in for $5, so I figured why not, after reading the horror stories of everyone on here. Sure enough, it took the guy over an hour and a half just to install the headlights... And I swear the one is now pointing too far down. I'd have gone absolutely nuts if I had tried it myself, especially with larger hands.

I was there for an alignment and just figured "eh, why not?"
