Another paint issue
You should clay bar the whole car if it has never been clay barred before no matter how new the car is but you can clay bar a single mirror if you want. You can easily clay bar the car yourself. Its just a matter of taking the time to do it. There are several clay bar kits out there for a fairly good price and youtube probably has a bunch of how to's. If you clay bar the car first then use a paint cleaner, followed by a polish and then finish with a wax you'll love the outcome and it will last for a good amount of time as well.
This is my car after I did a shampoo, clay bar, paint cleaning, polishing and waxing. It has only 5400km on it and you'd be surprised how much stuff the clay bar managed to pick up already. The car had spiderwebs even from the day I bought it but that's normal with even high-end cars these days. They are all pretty much gone now and the car feels as smooth as glass where before it felt like sandpaper in a lot of areas.
I think it was on this forum where I found a tip on how to close your trunk easier. I also had the same problem, it didn't close unless I slammed it.
Anyway, the suggestion was to push the trunk lid exactly from the middle when you close it. It worked for me, not all the time though.
I'll check for chipping issues tomorrow, too.

Yeah, I have major paint chips along the edge where my rear passenger doors meet the car. Not saying the doors are the cause, but thats just where all the chips are. what use to be rally red is now just pure white. and also lots of chips just underneath. Its the same for the other side of the car. very disappointed
Definitely not. Rarely do I ever have people sit in the rear. and for those that do sit in my car, they know how much my car means to me. My assumptions are that since I live in Winnipeg, MB, Canada that it must've been all the salt and sand on the roads during winter because thats when it started getting bad. after each wash there were more and more chips.
nono its not inside. might be a little hard from that picture to see (only had a camera phone). b maybe i shoulda used better wording to describe where it was. its right along where the door meets the body of the car but not on an area where, its enclosed, still on the outside body along that rimline.
