Do you have a header? If you have a header and no CEL (Check Engine Light) eliminator, it will cause your check engine light to go on. You can get a CEL eliminator from RRM (www.roadracemotorsports.com) for about $20. Basically, if you have a header on there it means the pre-catalytic converter that was on your original exhaust manifold has been removed so your O2 sensor is causing the CEL to come on. Get the CEL eliminator and it should fix your check engine light problem.

As for the sputtering, the only thing I can think of is if the piping on your cat-back is bigger than 2.25, a lot of people have said you lose a lot of back pressure and maybe that's causing the sputter? Don't know for sure, but maybe something to look into. Hope this helps, good luck.

With the CEL, take it to autozone or something like that and let them hook up and read your fault code. After you know the fault code, come back to this website and search the forums for that code. More than likely someone else has had the same problem and will hopefully be able to give a better explanation.
