Volume of the radio

Has anyone noticed the lack of volume from the radio? I do not have the gps system style radio; just the single cd model.
I find it extremely hard to hear even at volume 45 and was wondering if I am the only one that is def.

I think you might be deaf because I listen to mine at around 22 and that's loud (to me).

Guess there's something wrong with mine. At volume 22 I can barely hear it at all, it doesn't get noticeable until around number 30+. sure 45 is loud but it's not blaring, to me..I'll have to have it looked at I guess. Thanks

The stock headunit is very weak. I installed a pioneer unit, and that fixed the problem! I couldn't stand the factory headunit....0-15 volume was non-existant

Maybe the auto volume thing is on? When you're at lower speed it compensates and makes it quieter, then turns it up when you're going faster.
The rockford factory system is pretty nice, at least for me, it gets really loud around 25-30.

Single CD, not RF? that might be why. the Rockford fosgate is what you should have gotten if you wanted more volume.

Oh, yeah. The rockford has a 6 disc changer. So you don't have the sun/sound package? That would be why its quiet . You'll have to get an aftermarket setup if its not good enough for you.

On the fosgate headunit I usally cruise around listening to it around 20. When I'm really jamming the highest I go is 34. Anything more is just too loud.

do you happen to have a pic of what this looks like? i do not really like the stock head unit myself and was wondering what aftermarket would look like. also does anyone know if i am able to use an aftermarket deck with the 6 cd player changer that comes with the sun/sound pkg?

Yea I usually listen around 25. But if a good song comes on and I want some bass I crank it to 35-40. Ive maxed it out to 45 once but it was a low quality song and I was driving fast with the windows down
