Headlights turning on by themselves

Hey again,

So you all know we have auto off lights, well recently and randomly i will turn my car off and all is fine. Then some time later (not sure how long cause i just catch it randomly) my lights all turn back on. i go and open the car with no keys in the ignition and its giving me a door chime and the lights are all on. Then if i shut the doors the lights turn off again. Anyone see this before?

If it's the same thing that happens to me, then here it is:

1) if you have the parking lights or the reg. lights on, shut of the car, and take out the keys, the lights will stay on until you open the door (in which it gives you a long chime and shuts off).

2) if you turn the lights off then on after you pull the key out and open the door, the lights stay on for about 2-3 minutes, then turn off.

NOW if your lights turn off completely and then they turn on, you might have something different to deal with unfortunately.

Sorry Dude.

In all reality it sounds like an electrical problem. If you don't get some help on these boards I would take your car in to the dealer or a shop because something like this could kill your battery.

what i do is i leave my lights on all the time day and night. When i get out of the car it turns them off when i open the door. Now i lock it and go inside... later ill notice that they are on. Its really odd. yeah i need to take it to a shop but electrical problems are so damn expensive.
