my car is over heating!

Hey..well, heres the story. I was comming home tonight and I've had the kamikaze headers for about two weeks, and while crusing at 55mph all of a sudden the service engine light comes on, I saw it and ignored it as I knew it was the headers because I havn't installed the MIL yet. So, when I get home I leave the car running and get my cousing to come outside to look at the light that finally came on and when I look at my temp gauge its right next to the H!!! I was like oh shyt and turned off the car. I popped the hood and looked for any leaks, nothing. So I turned the car back on and can hear both fans full blast with the AC off. (I drove the whole way with the AC off btw) The needle just stayed where it was, I turned it off and checked the resivor. It was empty so I filled it up and then turned the car on, still stayed there so I drove it one block and the temp just flew down the normal. wtf? So I just stand there and look at it for 1 minute and it starts to get hot again! all the way to the H but as soon as I move 1 block it goes back down. How wierd. I'm just scared when I get my SC that its going to get really hot! Anyone have any ideas? My mods are, testpipe, SRI, and headers. Thanks in advanced

depends if you want the dealer to see all ur mos or not they might tell u that the mods void ur warenty or they might not care
but now that i read ur first post again there might have been a big air bubble in the cooling system i wold take it to a radiator shop first then think about the dealer if they cant fix the problem or if they cant find the problem
