Few minutes ago I had a SES light come on, I pulled the code and it said misfire in cylinder 4. Heres the thing when i pulled the plugs out, the 1st spark plug was partial covered in oil.....

Idle is "hiccupy" at stop and go, but during cruise its normal.

02 lancer ES 93k, plugs changed at about 60k

Any suggestions / recommendations?

 

covered in oil? The top portion of the plug?

 

Sure its oil and not fuel?

 

Middle/end portion and it was oil

 

try swapping the coils, and see if the misfire switches cylinders

Also, if there's oil in the plug holes, then you probably need to replace the spark plug gaskets on the head cover.

 

Hearing oil on just one of the spark plugs may mean you need to change your oil rings. Try to do a compression check and see if its not oil seeping up from the crank case. It also could be your valve seals.
