Your car is taking a while to get to speed because while your PCM sees the conditions needed to set this code, it will automatically put the transaxle into limp mode and lock the transaxle into 3rd gear. This is also why you're cruising at a higher RPM and not seeing 4th gear.

Although this DTC refers to the second solenoid valve, it doesn't necessarily mean that the actual solenoid is defective. There are other possibilities, including a defective PCM or the wiring or connectors between the PCM and the transaxle. I would suspect the solenoid as most likely the failed part because it is the only moving part in the system, but if I were to diagnose it, I would definitely try to rule out the PCM / wiring first. This particular solenoid circuit is supported by the Mitsubishi scan tool's actuator tests and can be easily tested to see if it is functioning. For the cost of about an hour diagnosis, your dealer service dept can test the solenoid operation and perform a resistance test at the solenoid connector without even opening the transaxle. That way, you can be assured that the part that you are replacing will actually fix the problem. Personally, I've seen *some* pcm failures for different problems, not very common. Just a bit of advice that might help out.

Well the job is done.. all solenoids were replace.. most of the solenoids were not in good same. The wire was repaired wasnt in good condition as well. The tranny is healthy again all came up pretty well. Lets see what happens later if it keeps working as good as of today.

I like to thank to the ones who helped me through this problem, and all the ones who posted in this thread..
