Evo sitting next to new toy

So my brother picked up a new toy to go along with his Evo and his NA Supra. Will get some better pics soon of the cars together.

NA Supra is sitting in the garage waiting for us to install the new Starter and Alternator:

And the most important words on the car:

I'm almost sure people will call BS on the price he paid for this car (a lot less than $15k). It has a little over 100K miles, it needs some electric work (my brother does car electronics for a living), it needs a new hood and some very minor body work.

The other downside is that the car is automatic!! It will have a newly built 6-spd in it in the next couple weeks though. The car also came with an intake and a clear cam cover. Also a full body kit (which is NOT going on the car, a new hood (which is being sold as well), and some other part for the car. Easily a grand or two of parts that weren't put on.

Well it's my brother's car, but after seeing it I think I'm gonna pick up a Supra for myself. Getting another Evo will have to wait.

Current plans include BPU+ or so. New FMIC and pipes, MBC, exhaust, fuel cut defender and of course add a new alarm and replace all the audio in it.

The interior is in awesome shape. I don't know if the back seats were ever used. Front seats look great with almost no wear and the dash and other panels look good as well.

I'm completely jealous of the deal he got (more specifically it was more than $11K but less than $12k ). Some of the trim needs to be replaced cause it looks slightly worn in some spots. It also has a boost leak somewhere and the traction control isn't working (who needs that though) and it has a slight exhaust leak.

The car isn't perfect by any means, but it just needs a few little things taken care of and it will damn near be. It made the trip from north NJ to NC with zero problems!!

Oh yeah, and the wheels are gonna be gone soon. The stock Supra wheels are FTL!!

That's a nice looking Supra.

Nothing THAT wrong with automatics besides not liking them at all. This car isn't going to be a drag only car and he definitely want's to enjoy the drive more.....hence, 6-spd!

We are trying to decide whether or not to pick up some ported stock twins or a pair of T-28's relatively soon.

No fan of autos, but if it meant I could own a Supra I'd take it. Definitely one of my favorite cars of all time, despite any downsides. The beauty of that engine at 100k is that it'll still be kicking come 200k
