Did you disconnect any harnesses in the process? That'd be an easy possibility. I wouldn't call something you caused a problem with the car though...if that were the case I'd hate the Lancer more than half the forums combined.

Also if you could take pics of your wiring that'd be hugely helpful...I don't suppose you're about to do that though.

You shouldn't have thrown anything away until you were done, but now that you have, you have to pay the price. Just go to Mitsubishi and buy whatever parts you need. They'd have to be downright stupid to believe it is a warranty issue bulb going out. Besides, warranties are for real problems, not ones you cause - just suck it up and buy the part.

He's saying Mitsubishi shouldn't pay for something that wasn't their fault. Personally I believe he's absolutely correct. Good luck.

Check all your harnesses...sounds like one isn't in all the way. I've taken that console apart so many time, and I once had my A/C not work after...and the harness wasn't snaped in all the way. Did you put resistors on the LED's or what? Run them off the battery or the wires that were running the stock ones...if so did you put in LED's that were the same current and voltage as the stock ones?

yes I ran 3.7 volt LED's with a 100 ohm resistor connected to each, and it is possible I unclicked a harness . I will check later and post
