Question K&N Performance filters

Hello,
K&N Dealer in our country doesn't have air intake for lancers... so I bought MUSTANG air intake & installed it on my lancer (After doing some modification).. actually it's bigger in size than the one which belongs to lancer, but I don't know if it was a good idea which I made or not..
Please I need a feed back

An injen intake won't work on a lancer evo...well at least that's what he says he drives.
