I have a 2005 lancer es automatic. I have a K&N short ram air intake on it right now, but i was wondering if there is any other intakes for automatics that drop down and/or that arn't so close to the engine. I feel like its not really a cold air intake :/ ... Please let me know, Also if you guys did custom mods urself share!

 

Theres one for the manual but not for us autos. What you got is a Short RAM and unfortunately the cold air intake for manuals does not fit out cars.

I don't think there has been anyone who has done a DIY/custom cold air intake for an auto.

 

Yeah I got the short ram intake. But if you buy the turbo kit from RRM the intake that come on that is one that drops... right? So it makes me wonder if there is any intakes out there. Do you have turbo in your car? If you do how do you like it?
