2003 Lancer OZ Rally Upgrade Suggestions

Hey guys I have a 03 OZ rally (automatic transmission ) recently got it about a month ago. I was wondering if any of you guys could make some suggestions on upgrading my OZ. Which would be the best 'cold air intake' 'exhaust' etc. I wish I had a 5 speed but this is what I have and what I can work with. Thanks.

There is no upgrade besides a turbo that is going to give you real power gain on the 4g94 :/ This is why most of us went the turbo way...although if you dont want to spend the 2k+ going turbo a couple bolt ons is always fun for the sound!

Thanks

Thanks for the replies. So going turbo is the best thing to do? I would have to build my own kit correct?

pistons & rods, wisecos and k1 from speedcorps.com. Currently burning oil, but i think im using too low of a viscousity. Going to run 20w50 since i have a suggested clearance of .0035 PTW.

You won't have 300+ hp with a stock bottom end engine...you can search a little more in the forum there is plenty of turbo threads.... here's 2 of them:
This one uses evo 8-9 eom parts
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/la...turbo-kit.html
This one uses evo 8-9 aftermarket parts
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/la...m-t-turbo.html

Good luck.

Some cheap and relatively easy options would be a CAI, a decent header, and a nice exhaust with a sound you'd like. If those basic power options aren't suiting your fancy; consider a piggyback for your ECU to get the most out of those upgrades and your basic engine.

No, no need to notch the block. Cranks no problem.

Hoping I don't offend any other Lancer owners out there, but if you really want more power, keep the 2 grand you'd need for a custom turbo install and use that towards a car with a bigger motor.
