Airbag Sensor TSB

If someone can confirm this,

i was at the dealer last week to get my 24k and they replaced my front airbag sensors, they told me that it was TSB and that everyone should be getting a letter about it soon, but that they where going to fix it now and i wouldent have to come back.

dident see it in blacksheepdj TSB post so was curious if it was just a Canadian thing :P

thanks

Jay

I'm in the US and just got the letter in the mail a few days ago.. It has something do due with the sensor failing in conditions where there is road salt on the roadways...

It's the front impact sensors (SR-09-005) and only applies in states where salt is used on the roads. Takes about 30 minutes. I also got a free Anniversary Oil and Filter change.

I got an email for a free oil change as well right around the time of my letter for the TSB. I just can't trust the dealer enough to change the oil lol. My recall took over an hour, but they are always incredibly slow for no reason.
