Engine hesitations

Never had a problem until about a month ago, I ran a lucas oil fuel cleaner through my 02 lancer. I changed out plugs and wires 2 months ago along with the oil. Any ideas? Thinking fuel filter/bad injector?? Service light on but have a header with no eliminator on exhaust and 56k miles. Help me Gurus!!!

Whatever the auto part store called for I believe bosch platium, I also replaced the wires (coil packs). But ran fine the last couple weeks, then ran a fuel cleaner through and all the sudden almost like its mis-firing, runs fine for a while or at higher rpms. Doesnt matter what gear mostly from 2nd to 3rd it seems........Any other suggestions???

what brand wires? i personally dont like bosch at all the only thing i will run on my car is ngk's.what did the plugs look like when you pulled the old ones out? that could also tell you something of whats going on.

if you know anyone with a tactrix cable and evo scan in the area try to data log it and see if anything is out of the norm. i could help but i live just north of madison.

did the plugs have any straight up and down lines on them? if so you had a misfire. were the tips of the plugs discolored at all? what store did you get the wires from.

only reason im asking is that i work at an auto parts store and i like to know how our competition holds up.

I would get that cel checked just to be sure autozone will pull it free. If it is just for your 02 if not then you have something to go on.
