Shift lock, no brake lights, no cruise control
Shift lock, no brake lights, no cruise control
so i finally got my new LED lights in complete in the housing with resistors. after installing them I no longer have brake lights, shift lock wont let me come out of park and cruise controll is gone. I tried to put the old bulbs back in but to no avail. the only thing i can think is that my brake light switch went bad.
Has anyone had or heard of this problem occuring if so what were the fixes used to remedy this problem?

i have never heard of this particular problem, but if it is the brake light switch, then you need to replace it!

Thanks!!
--->Here is the schematic....Have u checked the fuse and fusible link yet?

--->Fusible link #34 location is shown here on the battery positive cable (lower picture)

--->ETACS-ECU fuse box location...stoplamp circuit fuse is fuse #2 in this fuse box below...

***If both the Fusible Link and Fuse check out good then the next step would be to get out a test light and check for power on the other side of the Stoplight Switch with the brake pedal depressed...If all fuses are good and you have no power after the switch when activated THEN you will have determined that the Stoplight Switch is bad...Good Luck
