a little help guys!

I have a 09 gts, does anyone know where the speed sensor is located? I thought it might use the wheel sensors like alot of cars but they dont affect the speedo. thanks

It is in the trans-axle. Most vehicle are this way. Will be near to where the CV shafts go into the diff..

what exactly are you trying to do? The sensor would be most accessible from under the car near the rear (Depending on what transmission you have, might want to tell us next time) Should be right on top of the differential housing part of the trans axle

its a manual, my speedo cuts in and out, but no other gauges do. Im going to start by replacing the sensor, before I tear the cluster out

rebuilt title after i bought it wrecked and fixed it. it wont show a check engine light or codes because the driver bag is blown ha. I found to different plugs that I thought could go to sensor and neither affected the speedo. I may call my mitsu dealer and have them send me a parts diagram of the tranny/diff caseing

if im not mistaken. check drivers side of engine directly below the air intake box. should be a 2 prong sensor gray colored sticks out of the transmission like 2 inches or so.
