Question Inner tie rod removal tool for 03 lancer oz??

I need to know the size tool/wrench for removing the inner tie rods on my 03 lancer oz. All the part stores keep telling me they dont carry what I need, and cannot tell me the tool/size I need. I've seen a few online such as one from harbor freight that come with different adapters. I just need to be sure one of the adapters will work for me before I buy anything. Has anybody had any success with a particular removal tool? Thanks in advance.

one of those will fit. the tool is designed to be multi vehicle so it should work with almost any car made. thats why they make it that way.

I had this issue also, I ended up finding the correct tool at O'reilly auto parts. It was their inner tie rod removal tool. It had like 4 different sized adapters. The only caveat is that you have to return their tool within like 48hrs (maybe that's just a local store policy though). I used this information to help me do the procedure: http://www.ifitjams.com/tie_rod.htm
