Hey guys, what's up??

I got a couple of issues here with my 09 Lancer SE.
The first issue is the bluetooth unit. At the steering wheel I have the control but when I press a button, nothing happens.. why would I have the steering control but not the actual unit?
In the center MID, It does not display the outside temp. It just gives me 2 underscores.
Oh and can anyone tell me where can I download the Users/owners manual??? Cuz I didn't get it with the car.
Any ideas would be highly appreciated....

Well, where did you get the car from, private party or a dealer? To be honest with you, it does not sound as if you bought this from a Mitsu dealer and whomever owned this previously might have jacked around with something. If the temp gauge is reading -- I would assume the sensor may be broken. As far as the bluetooth, are you saying when you the hit the button, the computer does not even come on and talk to you etc?

And I forgot to add that I bought it from a private party.
It didn't came with none of the tpms on the tires.
nyw yeah, when I press a buttong, the computer/radio does'nt do anything.

 

Ut oh. That does not sound good. Was it bought from a kid? Look around the engine bay for any capacitor mounting for a stereo system. Check the fuses, maybe he fried them? If he was screwing around with the stereo system and wired something up like a Mexican that may be your problem. I'm new to the lancers, does the 09 ES have TPMS?

 

To my knowledge all the lancers come with TPMS and I thought there was no way to disable them...hmmm. Sounds like the guy you bought it from has messed around with some stuff....

Why not trying to call him to see if he can tell you what he was doing, or trying to do.
