Ok guys i have a gts cvt gearbox its a 2008 model,when daily driving everything is normal,but when i start to race my car or do spirited driving 10-20min later i get like a whining noise coming from the engine bay iam not so certain if its the engine or the gearbox,coasting down the road i change it to neutral and rev the engine and i can still here the whining noise,the car has 30,500miles completly stock..
so what do you guys think it is??
also i turn off the A/C while testing this.
once everything cools down or i start driving normal i cant hear ir anymore.

possibly the transmission from racing around. I know some other people have problems with limp mode when beating it too hard. If it goes away after cooling down, its nothing i would worry about too much because it could just be part of the operating parameters.
