Odd noise?

So when I turn my steering wheel, there's a creaking sound. It only seems to creak at certain points on the turn and it sounds like something in the cab more than out by the wheels themselves. I already checked the power steering fluid levels and everything is fine there. Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks guys.

How would I go about checking if that's the problem?

might have to take it to a shop and have the front end greased but before you do, spray some lube on the sway bar fame bushings and see if the noise goes away.

I would check the strut mounts. I had the exact problem.
I found that at the time (2005) it was cheaper to put in coilovers than to replace 2 strut mounts.

Well dang, I want coilovers but just can't afford it right now. by cheaper, how much were coilovers in 05? I see around 900 now for megans or tein as pretty much the cheapest. My cheap solution is probably going to be KYB ones....oem replacements are for losers like me i guess

on topic though, was that the sound, and spraying some wd40 on it made it go away, or no?

The sound even happens when I'm not moving and I turn the wheels. (I'm not sure if that information helps narrow it down at all)

I'll go try lubing the sway bar fame bushings and let you guys know if the noise disappears.
