Hi Guys, I'm not sure what the display between the Tach & Speedometer is so all I know it as the Middle Display,

Today somethign weird happened, first my Check Engine Soon (CES) light turns on when I was about to drop off my friend at his house, once I get to his house, I turn off my car, turn it back on about a half hour later, the CES light is gone. Then I noticed something interesting on my way back.

1: I noticed my Tripometer & Odometer is "NOT" moving whatsoever on A & B.

2: The Estimated Miles Left for Gas is showing a Constant ---

3: The AVG Screen shows nothing but --- on the Miles & MPG

4: I noticed my Refuel Warning kept appearing and dissapearing and I couldn't tell if I had to refuel or not (to be safe I did refuel my car).

As far as I'm aware of, the car has 55,168 miles on it right now, the last time I got it serviced was at 45,000. Oil change was two weeks ago. I haven't been in any major accidents whatsoever nor minor so the car is in perfect condition. Filters are all clean and nothing else major to really add in. (Please note the Dealer performed the Oil Change & the Service)

So does anyone have a clue on what could be the problem and what should I do to fix it? Any help would be perfect cause I'm suppose to go on a Road Trip with the car soon so I really need help. =(

 

Electrical problems, do you still have a warrenty?

but i like that you have a DE and are converting it to an EVO... does your signature contain your most updated mods?

 

That's correct, it's the as current as is, I've yet to purchase the intake system so what I have listed is current. =)

@Lancer XI1: Electrical problems, do you still have a warrenty? I'm not sure, I purchased this vehicle used, I'll see if I can contact the dealer to see if it still is. This could be proven helpful in my search. Thanks! =)

 

You purchased it used you still have warranty on your car from mitsubishi it is the 5 year or 60,000 miles witch ever comes first. But be care full with mods mitsubishi has been turning down approvals for warranty work on mitsu cars with mods. But if the mods did not cause the failure you should be fine.

 

Even though the CEL is not lit right now, the code(s) will still be a stored DCT. You need a scan tool, or mitsu to see what codes you have and then work from there.
