Fuel pressure
I am having some issues with my 02 lancer ozrally...My current question is if I pull my pressure hose from my fuel pump and hook a guage directly to it and Im getting 10 psi is that bad?.. can I check it this way? does it need to be connected to the return line to build pressure?
i just pulled the slave cylinder for replacement... got the car back together and now hard start/wont idle/surges/ wont go over 30mph without bogging completely.... it had some minor jerking and sometimes bad idle previous.... never had a check engine light...

Had that problem with my Chevy S-10. It turned out to be a clogged cat converter. So it might be something you'd want to look into. But wait for other people to respond. Maybe they'll have something better to propose.
that was another thought I had but I did the fuel pump test before I dropped the cat and found the 10 psi so I stopped there before I pulled something else apart... it does have characteristics of collapsed/clogged cat.....
