Hellppp!! Rusted and stripped bolts

Hey guys i am having problems with some rusted bolts. I was replacing my o2 sensor and i ot the car jaked up and looked under the car to see the bolt was completely stripped and rusted. So i decided to take off the cat to have more room. When i went to take off the cat i see those bolts were rusted as well. Any suggestions to get off rusted and or stripped bolts?? I have been sugested Pb blaster but i wanted a second opinion.
Thanks guys!!

PB Blaster works great. However, it doesn't work instantly. You need to let it soak in over a day or two to be effective.

Heat, use heat. Get a MAPP Gas torch and use that to heat the parts up. The heat will cause everything to expand and it will make life a lot easier to remove the bolts.

Another thing to try is an impact gun (or breaker bar) with impact sockets. The impact sockets are a hardened material and do have as much give in them as normal sockets and that will allow you to use extra force on the bolts (even if you don't use an impact gun).

What binky suggested works. I had the same problems when installing the greddy exhaust, the bolts were all rusted. I used a breaker bar and pb blaster and it worked perfectly.

Heat!
If you don't have a MAPP torch don't go out of your way to get one.
Just a good ol propane torch with a good attachement will do it.

This attachement will take care of it quickly

This one, will take its sweet @ss time

I recently installed my catback and even with PB blaster (used 3 days before install. sprayed it once each day and hours before install) I had a hell of a time breaking the bolts free. My brother used his foot with a extended socket wrench. A breaker bar would definitely help if you can get it under there. You'll need a 19 mm socket Good Luck!!

If you have room use a pipe wrench it works awesome for stripped bolts
