my sun roof is acting in reverse order. if i push the button to close it, it opens it and if i push to tilt it, it closes it but only closes 3/4 of the way but when i push to open it does nothing. i checked both bolts one had come off and the other one was a little loose but i screwed both back in and it does the same. can the motor be going bad or something? has anyone ever had this problem? thanks

 

Ok so I've been messing with it but it seems like it's not align. I guess when the screws came loose and fell out I didn't notice but it seems that when I go to close it and it only closes 3/4 of the way but I think it thinks it's closed. Is there anyway to pull the sunroof freehand or a way to align it again?


another update:
got it all fixed just to let anyone know to make the sunroof freehand so you can move it easy you have to remove the motor then it moves how ever you want it to. just letting anyone know incase they have this problem.

 

Very nice follow through. I had a close problem with mine a while back. Where my buttons were backwards. At the time I did a battery rear trunk mount, and evidentially some how the relay to that switch got mixed up or something, and never resolved until I moved the batter back to the front.

Nice to know you got it fixed though!
