air pushing out of rear when shutting a door

when shutting a door (front bak passenger) a slight sound which i can best describe as - very lil air pressure - coming from the rear end of the car.
this sound doesnt occur when the boot is open.

does anyone know what this is? I've been told by other folks that it could be coming out from the air cabin located on the rear end of the car where the sub sits in the VRX, but still, what would cause this!?

thanks in advance!

thats normal. There are vents on a car body that allows the air to escape. The air has to go somewhere when you open and shut a door. If you were to trap all the air when shutting a door over and over, you would have some pressure on the inside cabin lol.

Not to rain on everyone's parade but vehicle cabins are not air tight. I doubt that there are air vents specifically to allow air to escape. I also doubt that if you shut a door too fast that the inside air pressure will cause the windows to break.

Monte - I wouldn't worry about you closing the door and air coming out of the vehicle. Air is like a liquid and when you displace it with a denser mass (in this case, the door) it needs to move to the next available space. most likely out of your trunk or out of the door you are closing.

Good luck
