throttle asc issue

throttle asc issue

So I was driving tonight and suddenly it says traction control needs service and it cuts off. The traction control pulled into parking my car was idealing real rough jumping from 1000-1500 I turn car off and back on starts fine just service engine soon light on well drive about half a mile down the rd and it does it again so I floor it well it will only tach up to 3000 rpms and on take off literally takes me 45 sec to get up to about 30-40 mph and wont go over 40 if u park it and turn it off and startit it upcuts everything seems fine as soon as u drive a couple hundred feet it does it though took me an hour and half to get 15 miles im thinking o2 censor btw 2010I lancer gts cht with cold air intake and hi flow muffler no changes to cats or piping

This sounds like the exact same problem I had when I installed a 4g69 throttle body. I'm not sure what I did wrong but when I took it off and put it back on it worked fine the second time.

Try taking that intake off and reinstalling it. Could have a leak somewhere.

If it says traction control need service, its not an engine issue. You have an ABS fault that is putting the engine into limp mode because it is receiving erratic data from the ABS ecu. I am gonna take a shot in the dark and say a wheel speed sensor is failed.
