Engine turns but car won't start :[

I have a 2002 Automatic Transmisson Lancer OZ that slowly powered off on me while driving. Now both my ignition coils work when I tested them but one doesn't get any power. I think its #4 ? Its the one closest to the air filter.

I narrowed it down to these three:
-relay
-fuses
-the wire connecting to the ignition coil itself

How could I check these and am I on the right track?

Please help.

Are you getting fuel?

Do you hear the fuel pump prime? Pull a fuel line off the fuel rail and put the line in a plastic bottle or something so you dont make a mess, then turn the key, no need to crank and see if there is fuel in the bottle. theres probably a better way but thats how i check.

if you have the same fuse box i do... right by you left knee when seated in the seat. there are two fuses that control something on the motor. mine went awhile back. i was stuck for 3 days cause the coil had such a fine break. it was on the right hand side of the box. second down if i remember correctly... the panel will show where it is for reference

I checked the fuses and they were fine. Ignition coil #4 (hope that's right) still isn't getting any power which in turn isnt passing power to #2. Any other ideas anyone? Please?

wiring is so easy... chances are if that is your problem it will be a break in the wire rather then a burnt wire. so check the harness. if you find a break clip it and crimp it. then find someone who can solder and have them solder it together for you. IF! that is the issue
