Lose of power and car wont rev past 3k

I drove the car all today and stopped the house for a few hours when i went to leave i noticed 15 minutes into my trip the car felt like it had no power and refused to rev past 3k also at a stop light the car would want to stall. Im also noticing a burning smell coming from the engine bay. Have any of you guys experienced this and know what it could be?

I would be searching hard for whatever is burning bro. Also sounds like for whatever reason your car has gone into limp mode. I can reset out of limp mode by unplugging the battery for a few but I would wait until you can get your car scanned to see if any codes come up as unplugging the batt will erase those too.

Do a quick visual in engine bay and then a boost leak test. You may have popped a coupler and it's leaning on the down pipe or something.

I would definitely check the codes but mine did the same when when my input speed sensor went out
