Hi,

So I had an aftermarket radio installed for about a year and decided to take it all out and put the stock unit back in.

The radio seems to be working fine and all the controls work as they should. However, whenever it comes to the CD player, it keeps making the noise of where its trying to change a CD or eject a CD. As far as I can remember, there isn't anything in there.

After giving it some time, it will stop and display "error 03" on the display. Does anyone have any idea what it may be. I want to take it to the dealership but I'm sure they have my aftermarket unit written down and would only blame that for messing up the stock unit.

The install was done with the battery disconnected.

Does anyone know where I can get a list of the error codes for the stock radio or what my problem may be?

 

sounds like a failed head unit. I doubt it can be repaired.
