The cam sensor is new. Dealership replaced it. The problem was the ecu. Apparently the driver that runs 2. and 3 does not run 1 and 4. So I bought a used one and the cars fine now. So thanks for all the input.

I have an 03 Lancer es giving me a p0443 code. Replaced all vacume lines. Is it possible that it is the actual solenoid near the evap box in the rear of the car?????

Pull it down and check it out. I have had mine down a couple times. Probably got 20 pounds of dirt up there anyways that would be good to clean out. Check the connection first before just replacing it.

more evap fun

Yeah like 20 lbs of dirt fell in my eyes, smoooth move. Cleared the code just to have p0401 come up, its not the egr valve. Im ready to light this car on fire.. I replaced the tiny vacuum lines around the tb and manifold, replaced vacuum soleniod, cleaned out egr. egr soleniod is clicking. Maybe i need to reclean the tiny lines on the TB??? I cant figure this thing out. Made a home made smoke tester with a cigar and a hose...

Did you spray down in the channels of the manifold that the egr connects to?

Sprayed them down. Where do those lead to? Im thinking of jamming a wire in there to see if its clogged, just dont know where they lead to yet and dont want to puncture something i shouldnt. I think its the tiny tubes on the TB. Thanks

One channel leads back into the intake plenum and the other connects to another channel on the head that goes to the exhaust.
