Disable EGR code?

For some reason in the thread about disabling and removing the egr, the quote by mrfred which has the code I need to set the EGR duty to 0 in ecuflash is not showing up. It's just blank. I tried on my iPhone, my Mac, and a pc on 5 different browsers total, it simply just doesn't show up. It's just blank no text after it says "For rom 94170008-15". Even when quoted in other threads it's still blank...

Would some one be so kind as to post it or pm it to me? I hate to start a thread just for this but I'm at a stand still because of it. Very weird.

You can disable it from the periphery. I don't know which bit off hand. Hopefully your xml has the periphery bits defined.

I read about the bits and mine are defined but from what I understand it doesn't actually fully disable the EGR. The one mrfred came up with sets the duty to 0% all the time which is the only thing that worked for me the first time I did this.

The code just simply does not display on my computer on this forum. It looks like some one deleted it every time its mentioned in a thread.

Yeah, every thread with code in the posts seems to not display for some reason.
A work around that someone posted was to select the "quote/reply" button for the post that should have the code you're looking for and when the window for your reply with their message quoted pops up, you should be able to view the code in the raw text.

No problem. Just wish we didn't have to use this "workaround", and that someone could look into fixing the issue so all of the missing code is viewable again.
