BOV adapter, blanking plug?

I purchased HKS SSQV BOV and it came with unsuitable plug that cant even block off my air recirculation. I put the clamp and tape on; it pops out like a champagne! on New Jersey Turnpike. GOD!!

Any one knows any good blanking plug or where can I purchase it? LET ME KNOW.. send me pm with the link!!! I need longer adapter or somethin!

Are you talking about the plug that goes in the intake when you want to VTA?
Why not just recirculate the way the car is meant to be?

Well, usually the BOV comes with the little blanking plug to block hole in air filter. (im not going to recirculate the air back in the air filter from BOV) BUT, HKS blanking adapter doesnt fit because the cap not long enough.

HERE THIS ONE IM LOOKING FOR

but mostly import from Australia company which shipping and handling is ripoff!!

Question is: ANYONE KNOWS ANY U.S DEALER THAT CARRY THIS LITTLE BLANKING PLUG OR SO CALLED BOV BLOCK AIR ADAPTER?

PS: U.S dont have it in Pepboys, AUTOshops, HomeDepot, LOEWS, so if you want to post those, I already checked with them... somewhere else maybe!?

Go to a science lab and buy a rubber stopper

It shouldn't be popping off, the intake SUCKS air in not push air out. Back in the day with DSMs we used a film cannister.

If you overtighten the plug, it will come out. You have to just snug it in. I had the same problem. Since the intake has vacuum, it will not pop out when the clamp is on lightly. Just tighten it till it will not slide when you push on it by hand. Its a b*tch.

Ya, i did the same thing, put a little piece of paper in middle of Jersey turnpike as temperately use and I went to service area to look for duct tape. The little cap pops out when the upperIC pipe came off. I guess is the pressure that snap it out or something.

PS: I ordered Turbosmart blanking plug - 38mm ship from AUSTRALIA! $10.95 + 9.95(S&H)... damn ripoff!

If this is for the intake pipe, I am using a pipe plug, I believe it is 1/2" NPT. The threads on the plug give the rubber something to bite down on. Even with mild pressure from a hose clamp, that thing is not going anywhere. And it was about 50 cents, which is my type of mod...

uhm.. I know.. I was thinking that WHAT IF the pipe plug not tighten enough or loose and suck in my air intake pipe. THEN MY TURBO IS F**KED! Nevermind, im not going to risk it with the pipe plug, film canister or anything like that. I ordered $20 little pos blanking plug just to block the hole.

PS: This little air intake plug will pops out when the UICP(HKS w/BOV) got loose or disconnected(lower part of rubber). It happened to me. and what I ve done was tape it with the duct tape then clamps the rubber. Ill take a picture.
