radio problems

hey guys,
this is my first post here and i have a major issue.... it all started while driving down to miami... before i left i bought an aux cord for my pandora on my phone... well half way thru my trip it started getting more and more staticy... like im going thru a tunnel then all of a sudden there was nothing, tried cd nothing, tried radio nothing... so turned the radio off... well after a while i made a pit stop.. turned car and radio on and it worked again for about 30 miles or so and then it happened again... its been like this for a month or so now... and of course the warrenty ran out 6 months ago.... its an 09 gts with the sun and sound.. no navi... please help i cant stand not having radio.... i dont know if the aux cord messed something up or the amp **** the bed or what... ohh and all the lights and dials work as well screen is still on doesnt go blank

i need help guys... 28 veiws and no one has any input what so ever.... i checked all fuses (good)... no broken pins for amp connectors... i honestly dont know what else to check....

sounds like a faulty headunit, take to dealer to diagnose and replace under warranty.

If it was the head unit wouldn't the screen not work or have an error code on it... and its not under warrenty anymore... and with the problem I'm having doesn't it sound like the amps the issue... very faint sound and static...onn all selections of the radio/cd/mp3/aux....

I have the faint sound issue with the CD player, it doesn't even recognize CDs going in or out. I think it has something to do with the internals of the head unit because my Aux/Radio work fine.
