Airbag Control Module replacement, $850 dollars?

Before I ask for help from this wonderful community, I drive an 03 Lancer ES. The SRS light has been on for quite a while and I finally got it checked out. I knew it had to do with my airbags but I wasnt concerned with it until I started thinking about selling the car. It runs great but I could never sell it knowing the airbags dont or probably dont work.

I had the code checked by my local shop and they said I need to replace my Airbag control module. They said the part would cost $700 from the dealer and $150 in labor. Does that sound about right? I plan on getting a second opinion but looking online I see the part brand new for $300 and used for $30. Used is not the way to go but I feel like the numbers are WAY off. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated!

I'm sure a used one would be ok but either way you'll need to visit a shop that can turn that SRS light off. Wish the tactrix cable could do it but my local dealership did it for free. They said they usually charge tho.
