I'm not sure if I have a heater hose leak, or some sort of radiator issue, but the fan only kicks on in 30-45 second increments when the car is on, and I get nothing but hot air in the cabin whether stopped or going. Help appreciated.

 

Well, if you're only getting hot air while moving you may have low freon. Reason I say is the compressor clutch will only kick on if theres adequate pressure but the internal fans will blow regardless.

Does the AC clutch turn on when you turn the AC on?

 

have you replaced the fan controller since the recall years ago?

 

I'm not the first owner so I'm not entirely sure but I doubt it. EBay carry them? And the clutch only comes on for about a minute before shutting off for about a minute and so on.

 

Hmm, could very well be both things. Start small first and check your freon pressure then go with a new fcm.

And don't buy off of eBay. Get a legit fcm. Buy it right or buy it twice.
