Recently replaced radiator becuase it had a leak. Everything has been somewhat good except for the fact I still have a 1.6L 4G18 & all the problems I have fixed (IACV, Ignition Coils, Spark Plugs) come and go as they please. Just running this ***** till she bleeds out!

It's a 2002 Lancer...Yes I live in the US & Yes I have a 1.6L & Yes finding some parts are a pain in the butt.




I have a problem now where my radiator keeps draining on me everyday and it starts to overheat. Found the drip located engine/driver side a little 90 rubber hose possibly a drain hose for the heater core?

It drains out mostly when the cars running and all I smell while driving is coolant. It was pretty bad yesterday on my way to work when there was heat coming out of the vents as well as a thick smoke. When the cars moving its not so bad. Just when it stops.





Heater Core?
Is there a Hose that connects to this 90 rubber hose?

Should I rip the dash apart yet or find the part?

AC condensation drain. Sounds like you heater core shi t the bed.

 

I'd have to agree. Side note, where are you guys finding 1.6 4g18 at? Geez!
