When I went to move my car earlier . The key wasn't turning it was like it was locked . I looked it up and tried all the methods on Wikipedia and it turned over nicely , is there anyway I can prevent this from happening again?

 

Don't turn your steering wheel when your key is not in the ignition, if you do, it will lock the steering wheel and you're going to have to turn it before your key can turn your ignition on.
