Interior Lighting

HI guys,

Looking for some quick help. I am trying to wire some interior lighting to come on when the parking/headlights come on. Anyone know how I can do that? I need a 12V DC line. Is it best to go through the fuse in the engine compartment or is there a wire I can tap into?

Any help is great.

Thanks.

The best option would be to run a dedicated fused circuit to a relay and have the marker lights turn the relay on. You will need schematics and some knowledge of automotive electronics.
To find the proper fuse rating, find the load of the lights, IE) 80 watts/12v = 6.6amps , you will need a 10 amp fuse.

You can use the yellow wire coming out of the ETACS connector C-311. It is a 20 pin connector and the wire is in pin 10. This wire supplies your marker lamps. Use this as a signal to your relay.
